History
Ocala Christian Academy (OCA) was founded in 1978 by a group of local pastors and community leaders who had a vision to provide quality, Christ-centered education for students in Ocala, Florida. Since its inception, the school has provided students with an academic program focused on strong academics and spiritual foundations. Through their commitment to excellence, OCA has become one of the most respected private Christian schools in the area.
Throughout the years, OCA has grown from a small elementary school with just four classrooms to its current size of over 300 students enrolled in grades K-12. Facilities
Ocala Christian Academy (OCA) in Ocala, Florida is a Christian private school committed to providing a top-notch education to its students. Located in the heart of the city, OCA offers an exceptional learning environment for PreK3 through 8th grade students. The campus features modern classrooms and educational technology, as well as stimulating outdoor spaces for play and exploration.

Curriculum
Ocala Christian Academy (OCA) in Ocala, Florida offers an excellent education that is based on Biblical principles. The school provides a rigorous college preparatory program of studies for its students, with courses ranging from core subjects to electives and advanced offerings.
In the elementary grades (K-5), the curriculum includes language arts, reading, math, science, social studies, Bible study and physical education. In addition, foreign language instruction is introduced at grade 3 level; Spanish being most commonly offered. Art classes are also included in this age group.
Middle School (grades 6-8) academics are enhanced by engaging technology tools and continue to include core subject areas as well as Spanish language instruction along with a variety of electives. Elective courses may include robotics, drama and debate, graphic design, digital media production, physical education and health classes, technology classes such as coding and computer science, music and art appreciation.
In the high school (grades 9-12), our college preparatory program helps students become prepared for postsecondary studies or career opportunities upon graduation. High school coursework includes core subject areas plus an array of electives including foreign language instruction (French or Spanish). In addition to traditional academic offerings OCA also offers honors level classes in math and science as well as AP classes in selected subjects that give students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. Advanced placement courses are offered through College Board’s AP program and include subjects such as English literature, psychology, calculus, chemistry and biology.
OCA also offers several dual-enrollment programs including Dual Enrollment with the College of Central Florida (CF) that allows students to pursue college credit at no cost to families. Additionally, our school has partnerships with Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL and Stetson University in Deland, FL both of which allow students to take advantage of university courses while still enrolled in OCA high school.

Ocala Christian Academy (OCA) is a private Christian school located in Ocala, Florida. Founded in 2002, it offers an exemplary Christ-centered education for students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade. The academy has a tuition schedule that varies depending on the educational program and number of classes taken.

All parents must also register their students with FACTS Tuition Management, a third-party service which collects tuition payments on behalf of OCA. There is an annual FACTS fee of $45.
