Baseline Golf Club

Baseline Golf Course

Baseline is a course that will challenge your game and get you to think about how to play each hole. Baseline is known as an “executive course” because of its shorter layout and focus on par 3s throughout. The course only runs 3,604 yards from the back tees, which is about half of the total distance that your typical golf courses play at, and is a par 64. Just because this is a very short course does not mean that it has a lack of fun and challenging obstacles. One of these challenges is the hole known as “Lucky 13”, which is a short island par 3; if you don’t hit an accurate tee shot then you’ll find yourself in the water!

Designed by Arlie Parker and Stan Norton, Baseline Golf Course opened up in 1988 and has been kept up with extremely well throughout the years. No matter what time of year you want to play at this course—whether it’s a weekend in the summer or midweek during winter—you won’t want to miss out on this hidden gem in beautiful Ocala!
